Professional puppeteer Noel MacNeal will teach puppetry skills used by The Muppets on such shows as Sesame Street & Disney’s Bear in the Big Blue House (Noel puppeteered & voiced “Bear”).
Description:
Through humor & engaging dialogue, Noel MacNeal will demonstrate professional manipulation and what a puppet “is,” and invite kids to try their “hand” at lip-sync (aka how a puppet talks) with professionally made puppets. Plus, kids will learn the same television puppetry skills used by “The Muppets” on such shows as “Sesame Street," & “Disney’s Bear in the Big Blue House” (Noel puppeteered & voiced the title character, “Bear”) & do the same exercises he has used to audition & train professional puppeteers for the international versions of “Sesame Street.” This demonstration will conclude with a “sing along,” where kids will puppeteer with Noel. So what do ya say, kid? Wanna be a puppeteer?
