The old truce is at its breaking point. For decades the Order of Reason and the Traditions maintained a tenable if tense truce, but it looks like it will all fall apart unless something changes. The earthquakes and Inquisitors have left the city unsettled, but now there are rumors of the fallen infiltrating the city again. The Daedelans have turned their ire on the mystics, convinced of tradition treachery. You are a member of one of the last cooperative cabals left in Venice, and if you don't get to the bottom of what is plaguing the city it could break out into an all out war, then again maybe a confrontation is unavoidable.
