21 little ranch-style, 1950s kit-houses line the neat little circular road just outside of town that comprises the Birch Street Community. The neighbors regularly meet in the grassy park created naturally by the layout of their street, having family barbeques and major events there through most of their lives. Many of the families have lived there for two or three generations, and the few newer additions came over a decade ago to raise their children in this wonderful, friendly community. That was until someone discovered that the Smiths had been ritualistically murdered in the center of the park.
