Conventions are a great place to dig deeper into our favorite hobbies, but more than that, they’re a tremendous opportunity for sharing community with other people who share our passions. Even if the specific focus of our hobby isn’t the same, we spend 3-4 days at each convention sharing space together and celebrating nerddom in all its diverse expressions. How can we—as individuals—foster a greater sense of love and care for each other in this space, and how should we carry that home to our local context with us?
