In the world of Legacy, the course of history is maintained by the operators of the Ancient Machine. As an Antiquitect, the machine binds you to the present while you travel back through time to ensure the technological advancements of the world remain intact. -- Legacy: Gears of Time is a strategic card game mechanically rooted in its time travel theme. Players take turns of 3 actions (such as travelling back in time, establishing and influencing technologies, or drawing cards) to ensure increasingly elaborate technology chains remain intact. Using a fresh mix of deck-building & worker placement, players build a resort to attract fantasy heroes. But an onslaught of monsters are waiting to devour the unsuspecting tourists!
Description:
Each player begins with a humble resort consisting of a Beach, a Tiki Hut, a small number of Tourists and a deck of basic workers. During each round, players may train skilled workers, upgrade attractions or attract heroes and tourists. -- After each round, monsters may attack! Players can choose to have their heroes defend, or dodge out of the way, letting the tourists get eaten. Plan your actions carefully, as the monsters get stronger and competition gets fierce! -- Score points by resting heroes and upgrading attractions.
