The heroes are at the home of Arassuil, an aging Ranger tasked with watching over near-deserted Minhiriath and the restless Dunlendings across the Greyflood River. Arassuilâs few Rangers report that Dunlendings now raid along the western bank of the great river. This is unheard of, and Arassuil can think of no explanation. Because he cannot afford to pull his Rangers from their patrols, he put out a call for heroes to assist him. The heroes have answered the call and will journey into the lonely territory to find the truth and stop the Shadow.
