This is a twisted fairy tale with Cthulhu elements, and you'll play one of the family members trying to escape from the dark horrors of the sugar shack. The cost of saving a life may be your own sanity, so there are psychological themes woven throughout the story. We will play with Cthulhu Dark rules which use a couple of six-sided dice to gauge success and (in)sanity. The focus will be on the characters and hanging on to your sanity, even by a shred. All that is, will not be and all that will be, is not. After the demise of Hamlet’s father, strange dreams hint at a horrible transformation underway. Increasingly delirious, Hamlet suspects the king’s death was unnatural and sets out to discover the truth. You will assume the role of a court member dealing with the recent tumultuous events. One by one, others in your circle glimpse an ethereal sight and grow increasingly afraid of sleep. Will anyone escape the madness?
