My collection is missing a few. Perhaps there's a hole you've slipped through. If you're sufficiently tough or lucky enough then maybe I'll never find you.
Description:
You don't remember a time before; before the air felt heavy and thick, before the pain. All sound is whispers in the darkness. The faces around are terrible masks, frozen in crafted despair, enduring an endless night through a deathless winter, trapped between the walls and peaks in valleys of shadow. This is their monument to sorrow. This is the kingdom of the Hegemon. Here you serve a monstrous god.
But an end is coming. Your hollow eyes have found hope - the lost whisper of escape. This is your chance. We meet at darkest hour. Grant no goodbyes. Arrive prepared, and armed. We do not know what happens next but remember: we have nothing left to fear.
You died…sort of. You wake up merged with a ghostly being and almost no memory of the past few hours. You must find out what happened, what’s going on, and decide what you are going to do next.
Description:
College. It is a time of transition, a rite of passage, the first taste of freedom, and to many, the beginning of the rest of their lives. It is a shame that you died before it even officially started. Your memory of the past few hours is hazy and spotty. You know who you are and where you came from, but not how you got into this...sewer? You also feel...changed somehow, something fundamental that you cannot quite put into words. However, you are not alone. There are over a dozen other people around your age also waking up and looking just as confused as you feel. If all this were not enough, there is this...creature-thing that feels familiar and would be a lot more welcoming if it did not look so horrid and ghostly. So, what now?
Ironically, dying and now being bound to a ghost..thing was the least interesting part of yesterday.
Description:
Dying should be one of the easiest and simplest events that just happens in your life, if you are lucky. Not that you wanted it to end, you were just about to start college after all. You and your fellow Freshmen figured out who killed you, why, how, and that should have been the end of it. However, your newfound veteran allies, The Mentors, and everyone else agree that there is something else going on. Luckily, classes don’t start until tomorrow anyway.
