For years, the wizarding community has been terrorized by the Dark Lord Voldemort and his minions. Evil spread, and no one was safe. Until...less than a year ago, the Dark Lord fell, defeated at the height of his power by an infant, a child named Harry Potter. With the danger now past, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has reopened its doors, and the first half of the year has flown by. The Yule Ball is approaching, and many students have stayed for the festivities. Surely, nothing ill will befall Hogwarts now that the Dark Lord is out of the picture. Role-Playing stressed. Game is set 10 years before the book series. 40 players, all the houses represented! Maturity required, adults preferred, 13+ ages only, please. See www.byov.com for details. THIS EVENT IS BYOW (Bring Your Own Wand...no magic without a wand!)
The circus comes to town! Cirkus Milvaukee, pride and joy of the upstart state of Wisconsin, makes it's way to Indianapolis. But this wild-west cow-town has never seen a show like this! A BYOV Tragio-Comedy LARP (HUNH!?) using Dave Collins Courting Murder Rules. Cowboys, gamblers, clowns, magicians.... what more could you ask for? No six shooters allowed! Role playing and problem solving stressed. Check www.byov.com for more details. GM: Maris Rence
King Tomas of the Unseelie Court has made a bold move by inviting several of the Seelie nobility to his Winter Solstice Ball (including the Queen of the Seelie Court). In 3 days, another historic meeting will take place to discuss recent events in Europe and Asia. Coincidence? There has been no gathering of this sort between Seelie and Unseelie since the Courts were split ages ago. Surely, the proud Sidhe will be able to set aside their differences for one night of celebration in honor of the Goddess...Role-Playing stressed, mature players only. Check www.byov.com for more details. GM: Ed Allen
Midwinter is a difficult time in the human kingdoms of Midgaard. While Odin and his sons may find sport throughout all the worlds of creation, human kings and their subjects must sit in their long halls, reliving past glories and waiting for the spring. Midwinter is thus a time to rejoice, a turning point of the seasons. In a castle on a cliff above a frozen river, a human king awaits the guests for his feast...but there is a saying: if wars are fought in spring, they are certainly *planned* in winter. Role-playing in a world of Norse mythology! Maturity preferred, using David Collins' Courting Murder rules. Check www.byov.com for more info.
